Yo,

after a two week hiatus, trainings are back on.

Same time (11am)
Same place (The Bev)

Focusing on Endzone offence. Expect drills geared towards individual and team skills in the endzone, both with and without the disc.

Handling skills are essential anywhere on the pitch. With the ability to consistently throw scoring passes, or keep possession of the disc until such an opportunity arises. Having the confidence to throw scoring passes involves throwing leading passes away from any potential defender, and breaking the force.

Cutting in the endzone means making use of all the available space, and clearing out efficiently so that scoring passes can be thrown. While players may rely on dump-swing tactic to keep possession of the disc, if we can rely on scoring at early opportunities, then we are being more efficient on pitch, taking the first available opportuinty to score, rather than increasing the possibility of turnovers that come with more throws.

A little disclaimer - Whip won't be there, and I'm resting, so while I'll be running training, I won't be taking part. I'll bring plenty of spare shirts though!
