Local Junior Teams
Play for a local school team or want to get one started?
We would love to host your information on our website. At Kent Ultimate we're all about getting more people playing the sport. We have run introductory events at the Canterbury High, we have one coming up at St Edmunds and we have strong links with the team based at the Langton Boys. If there a way to support more local school sides, from coaching to equipment, please ask and we will see if we can help.
The Kent Juniors currently train with the seniors. In fact, they make up the heart of the Open team. If you would be interested in joining the ranks of the Kent Juniors, please make your way down to one of our practices.
After two days of intense indoor ultimate we managed to come fourth in the country at under 19 level.
This is an awesome achievement for a team entering their first ever nationals.
congrats to all those who played and supported.
We had an awesome weekend that highlighted two things: how awesome we are as a team, we have skills and especially depth in our subs. Secondly how much of a multi am I? I managed to send the team on a warm up and then onto the pitch a whole game early!
As always thanks to Whippet for his coaching and banter. Much thanks to Hand's parents and Yeah Kate's parents for transport and housing respectively.
I am very pleased to be able to announce that 4 of our juniors are going to be representing GB at the World Championships in August.
Charlie Blair, Leo Morgan, Josh Coxon Kelly and myself are all going to Vancouver to compete in the WUGC2008 (World Ultimate and Guts Championships 2008). It's an awesome achievement for any one of us to be going but with this many juniors at the top level possible huge credit must be payed to the club that has raised us all!
