Lianos is the epitome of the perfect balance between party and focussed ultimate. As the joint captain of Kent Touch This, John has accomplished mixing his student habits with the quality play that the KO! exhibits. He is a great asset to our open team, and even won an award at the last AGM for his ability to party like a student, yet play like an open pro.

However, despite his reputation, previous happenings suggest John's duality of liberal party and focussed play isn't quite in joyous equilibrium. After holding a pre-tournament party, John awoke still very much drunk, and thus couldn't drive himself and other members of KTT to the London tournament. They finally arrived late and quite frankly, still pretty 'gattered' from the previous night. Tut tut.

The next imperfection to John's union of a party mindset with quality open play is a certain incident at Tour Zero. As the first 'proper' tournament for Kent Open (great barr crawl doesn't count), Tour Zero was about gaining collective team experience and developing a spirit of comradeship and brotherhood amongst the ranks. However, where was John on the night that Whippet and Teebs had to brave the wind and dew in full clothes, as there was only a porch section of a tent left for them to sleep in?

Only in a four star 18th Century Edwardian Hotel with his Girlfriend... The next day he even claimed that he was 'tired'.

Nevertheless, Lianos is a player of definite quality. Previous edits of this page suggested that he purely lingers in the endzone, waiting for the disc to come his way. In fact this couldn't be further from the truth, as John uses good pace and timing to eat up free space and make that all important play on the disc.
